Several different Turkish Bible translations from the Ottoman period are found on this website. These rare Bibles have an honorable place in Turkish literature. In digital form they will be useful to scholars and inquirers. Images of the original pages of the Old and New Testaments are presented with precise transcription in Modern Turkish characters and explanatory pop-up notes.
We have not translated anything but only transcribed the Ottoman Turkish texts, as though the Ottoman translators were dictating to us and we were writing down their words.
